SUMMARY:

The HRIS Business Analyst (HRIS BSA) position partners with HR leaders and their customers to analyze and improve work processes by leveraging information technological systems and services. The HRIS BSA serves as the lead technical point-of-contact for all HR and Payroll functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS BSA also leads HR and payroll system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gathering and facilitating alignment on global business requirements and priorities for the purpose of selecting of HR and Payroll IT applications.
  • Provide technical and functional support for vendor selection process.
  • Key functional architect for the integration of HR systems with other enterprise systems, services, and suppliers.
  • Production Support for HR IT systems, including researching and resolving problems; supporting scheduled activities; and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Develop specifications, assist in development, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist HR team with the development of user procedures, guidelines and documentation for HR IT systems.
  • Develop and provide training on new HR IT systems, processes and functionality.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS. Participate in local user group meetings/conferences.
  • Ensure all HR IT systems meet the data privacy requirements of H&V locations.
  • Provide training to IT and HR professionals and company managers on the proper use and protection of personal data.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner.
  • And other related duties as assigned or required. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of proven results oriented work experience in IT or HR functions.
  • At least three years experience in a leading or key contributor role in selection, implementation, and support of cloud based HRIS.
  • One to two years of successful experience leading IT projects.
  • Certification in project management preferred. 
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Proven decision making skills and the ability to defend those decisions.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for ensuring the cost effective and efficient procurement of raw materials and energy to our manufacturing facilities, along with leading the businesses in identifying, managing, and prioritizing cost out in direct material programs in attaining their Operating Plans, utilizing Strategic Sourcing, Supply Base Management and Total Cost Analysis strategies. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Identifies raw material sourcing strategies, negotiates pricing and delivery to ensure uninterrupted flow of raw material to H&V facilities through effective supply base management. 
  • Identifies alternative suppliers, coordinates qualification trails and supplier workshops with key suppliers. 
  • Utilize strategic sourcing, total cost analysis strategies and targets suppliers, spend for online auctions and effectively manage the commodities.
  • Strategically manage raw materials and energy spend; ensures quality, sourcing and commodity strategies are in place, competitively priced and compliant with any laws/regulations and working capital levels meet or exceed corporate objectives.
  • Identifies cost savings opportunities and manages cost reduction activities to achieve 5% annual cost reduction goal with supply chain leadership, utilizing a formal strategic sourcing process.
  • Collect and analyze market and supplier data, develop sourcing options for review and concurrence by the applicable business unit, and implement approved strategies timely to capture savings and value to the business.
  • Gain supplier involvement in supplier management to drive continuous improvement and productivity.
  • Lead cross-functional team(s) in the identification of alternative products and suppliers, facilitates qualification trials, and conduct supplier management to drive continuous improvement.  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • BS/BA degree required.  MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in raw material sourcing and procurement, preferably in nonwovens related industry.
  • Excellent background in supplier management, commodity strategy development/execution, contraction negotiations and manufacturing operations.  

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of suppliers globally and global sourcing strategies; including low cost country sourcing experience, good knowledge of energy and logistic markets.
  • Excellent financial acumen, ability to analyze budgets, international exchange rates, and financial ramifications of contracts and the ability to measure success and show results in bottom line.
  • Excellent organization capabilities and project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • The ability to have the continuous improvement mindset.

SUMMARY:

The electrical and controls engineer will be responsible for the electrical power and control systems including design engineering, maintenance engineering, and operations. This person will budget, procure, install, and oversee the start­up of electrical and controls projects in the plant, and will provide training to operators and maintenance personnel. Establish and execute the instrumentation and control strategy related to the manufacturing and environmental control processes. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership for troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment of all processes and development of safety procedures for the installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Leadership for development and implementation of the operation and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and process data management systems.
  • Leadership for Development of Capital Project preparation, drive process capability improvements, contractor management and project execution.
  • Develop technician’s skills through training plans that provide a framework of various levels of training and experience to be used as a mechanism for incremental advancement in responsibility and duties.
  • Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls industrial motor control centers, programmable logic and controllers.
  • Ability to read commercial electrical blueprints and apply NEC through the full range of commercial and industrial maintenance work.
  • Ability to install and maintain motors, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and transformers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Experience in maintaining departmental budgets and management systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Training in Six Sigma techniques and statistical analysis tools highly desirable 
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office programs (excel, word, access, power point).
  • Skilled in leading people with good verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position is at times “hands on” when necessary to assist with completing the work and consists of a high level time spent throughout the facility and machines.  Including climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling and bending.  Occasional lifting of items roughly 25 lbs.
  • Frequent periods with extended times working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Facility activity can and will include access to PSM covered areas of the mill with exposure to highly dangerous material and environments.

Brief Summary of Role Responsibilities

The HR Executive Assistant is critical role within the Hollingsworth and Vose global HR Team.  The role covers a wide range of responsibilities centered on supporting the Chief Human Resources Officer and other senior HR staff with everything from travel management, meeting management, vendor management, project management, budgeting, material presentations and communications.  The role requires a high degree of personal organization, technology capability and a calm, can do attitude. The incumbent should be able to act independently, apply judgement and discretion and present a professional approach to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, and department activities for the CHRO and other Senior HR Leaders.
  • Collects and prepares information for use in discussions and meetings with Board of Directors, Executive staff members, and outside individuals
  • Prepares and designs presentations, special reports, general correspondence, memos, organizational announcements, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, presentations and other similar documents from broad, conceptual themes. Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information, mail, inquiries and phone calls.
  • Resolves routine inquiries, determines appropriate level of priority, and escalates as necessary.
  • Processes expense reports and payments.
  • Coordinates with Finance to processes departmental invoices.
  • Manages key vendor relationships, such as our relocation provider.
  • Obtains applicable travel authorizations and visas required for international travel.
  • Works independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects. 
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes company-wide and customer events.
  • Tracks budget to actual expenses and reports variances.
  • Types, edits, proofs and coordinates the preparation and distribution of materials
  • Coordinates the administration key HR documents such as individual personnel files, HR policies and plan documents.
  • At times, provides back up for personal and lunch breaks for Receptionists or other Assistants. 
  • Maintains department office supplies.
  • Maintenance of the recognition awards and matching donations program.
  • Performs employment verifications upon request.
  • Assist employees with HR processes and technology as required.
  • Provide back-up data entry HR systems as required.

Necessary Skills & Experience

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 - 8 years in a corporate environment working for Executive level staff.

Specific Knowledge, Skills & Certifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Experience within a HR Team or Department is an advantage
  • Ability to organize workload and perform tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to determine potential solutions to problems/issues and works to resolution.
